Provisional timetable 2018

Assumptions
  • Coasthopping 'Round Britain' clockwise
  • Departure Thursday, May 2018, from Lelystad
  • Return home later than August 31, 2018
  • Sailing, Drinking and Rocking Ruby Rose
  • As much as possible all trips of 40 nautical miles (6 hours at sea)
  • Sufficient space for sightseeing and other activities outside sailing
  • Maximum occupation per track Ruby Rose: 4-5 persons
  • Flexible trip planning with built space for blown lying
  • Sufficient strategic entry and exit locations for crew

Itinerary outline
  • June 2018: From Lelystad to the south coast of England at Lands End, west England, east coast Ireland and finally the west coast of Scotland
  • July 2018: Stay from 2-3 weeks to west coast of Scotland with subsequent trip through the Caledonian Canal
  • August 2018: From the east coast of Scotland slipping down the east coast of England and afterwards the crossing to Netherlands

  • Week of June 5: Along South Coast England to Wight / Lulworth
  • tWeek of June 12: Further along South Coast to Lands End / Scillies
  • Week of June 19: Along west England (Padstow) to Pembroke
  • Week of June 26: Crossing to Ireland near Carnsore Point and along east coast of Ireland to the region of Dublin
  • Week of July 3: Along east coast Ireland to the north - possibly interstate stop on the Isle of Man - to the west coast of Scotland (near Belfast / Portpatrick, Glenarm, Campletown)
  • Week of July 10: Exploring West Coast Scotland (inclusive Crinan Canal)
  • Week of July 17: Exploring West Coast Scotland (Oban, Tobermory)
  • Week of July 24: The Caledonian Canal to the east coast of Scotland 
  • Week of August 1: Along east coast of Scotland slipping down to  Stonehaven / Arbroath
  • Week of August 8: Further along the east coast to Edinburgh
  • Week of August 15: Along east coast of Scotland further south to the region of Scarborough
  • Week of August 22 (till the end of the month):  From Scarborough - possibly through The Wash / Great Yarmouth - to The Netherlands (home)
